　　报告人简介：

　　Prof. Julian A. Hiscoxis Chair in Infection and Global Health, in the Institute of Infection and Global Health (IGH) at the University of Liverpool. He is one of the pioneers in using quantitative proteomics to study how viruses and the host cell interact. His focus currently is on both animal and human viral pathogens that are extremely relevant to global health and food security, particularly in the area of respiratory and emerging pathogens which involved containment at Biosafety Level 2 and now Biosafety Level 4. In the previous five years he has published 30 academic peer reviewed papers in journals including but not limiting Nature Reviews Microbiology, Molecular and Cellular Proteomics, Journal of Virology, Journal of Proteome Research, Proteomics ,EMBO Reports.

　　Prof. Ian Goodfellowis Head of Division of Virology, Department of Pathology, University of Cambridge. His research interests focus on the molecular mechanisms that viruses used to translate and replicate their genomes, with particular interest in Noroviruses, members of the Caliciviridae family. In addition he has interests in the mechanism by which cells sense and respond to infection, as well as the novel mechanisms viruses have evolved to evade these responses. In the previous five years he has published 40 academic peer reviewed papers in journals including but not limiting PloS Pathogens, Cell Host & Microbe, Journal of Virology, Journal of Biological Chemistry,  Nucleic  Acids  Research. Now he is the Editor of Journal of General Virology, Associate Editor of Virology Journal, Guest editor of Plos Pathogens.
